I’ve lived in California for 6 years. The biggest source of annoyance was not being able to find a good pie. I’m used to great pizza from NYC and New Haven. California doesn’t do it right. Al’s was a shot in the dark order tonight and I’m going to bed a very happy less homesick lady tonight. The only thing missing was the NY water, my hunt for a bomb slice is finally over. THANK YOU for saving me from the other pizzas here!

Fantastic slice of thin-crust NY-style pepperoni pizza. Unbeatable price for a slice, salad, and fountain drink.

First timer here! Wanted to take the Pepsi challenge with two pizza places very close in proximity, and both highly reviewed. Placed a Combo order for pick up from both Al’s and The Pizza Bakery. Both said a 20 minute wait. You can see that Al’s medium is more like a large size in comparison, and a few dollars more. Both places were hustling, both were polite, and pizza was ready within the 20 minutes quoted. The only reason I wouldn’t give 5 stars is it’s not somewhere I would want to sit and hang out to eat. It’s too small and an unattractive parking lot. Otherwise, good pizza!
