Best sandwiches in the area. Hands down. Baked goods are delicious too. The service is also great, even when it’s busy and they are in a hurry, I’ve gotten friendly, fast service and they make sure I’ve got everything I need before jumping to the next customer.
Fresh cut deli items help, but the bread really makes the sandwiches amazing.

I have been going there for many years. I can always rely on them for a delicious cake when needed for a party. Delicious bread as well. Also very nice staff they make you feel welcome. Today I Just ordered a half and half cake with blueberry filling and buttercream absolutely delicious. Thank you for making such delicious cakes.

F and I are lucky enough to live so close to this amazing bakery. Italian People's Bakery is going on 80 years in business and 3 generations.
They are world famous for so many of their baked goods. For example torpedo rolls, sesame twist bread, cream filled donuts, cannolis, cheese cake, pinole cookies...and the list goes on.
In addition to the sweets, IPB make a phenomenal hero sandwich.
If you come during busy hours be prepared to park and walk or triple park. It's part of the charm of the place. Holidays, get there early and queue up.
We are so happy this family run business has chosen to stay and build on the history here in Trenton.

Fantastic bakery with the best rolls and my favorite Italian cookies! I also recently started going here for their deli sandwiches and they are delicious, they definitely won't disappoint (again because of the great bread). If you haven't been here I would highly recommend going.
