About Abbey Farms

Abbey Farms is a unique agritourism farm in Aurora, Illinois – but we like to think of ourselves as a family fun destination! Abbey Farms has been growing memories for nearly 75 years, with our fall festival and its corn maze, pumpkin patch and outdoor attractions; with our holiday season, with dozens of acres of U-Cut trees and our Christmas store; with our Summer Ramble season and its specialty cafe menu and live music; and, coming soon – our apple orchard, and new winter season activities! It all started in the 1930s when the monks of Marmion Abbey settled here and began growing trees – then opened to the public for the first time in 1949. Abbey Farms is a working, nonprofit farm – and all proceeds benefit the monks and their mission. We accept Money Mailer coupons.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT US

We decided to celebrate my daughters 4th birthday at Sonny acres farm this year and from the initial inquiry to the day of the party the customer service was spectacular!! Susan was the best! She was attentive and easy to communicate with. the services they provide are stellar. I bought 25 wristbands which came with food (personal pizzas with chips and drink) for 25 kids as well a cup of feed for the animals for each kid. plus I catered food for the adults as well. Everyone in my party kept Raving about how delicious the food was. We had 2 trays of Italian beef a full tray of pasta salad and a full tray of chopped salad. and we devoured every last bit of it. All the parents were so impressed by the cleanliness and well cared for grounds. The amusement rides and bounce house were a phenomenal hit! I had friends asking to come back and schedule individual playdates at Sonny acres! I can't say enough about how wonderful our day was here and what a memorable birthday party it was for my princess. This place is extraordinary. I am looking forward to the upcoming rodeo and fall festivities. Sonny acres has gained a life long customer.

What an amazing place to visit. We took our grandkids on a Tuesday evening.there is a classic car show there on Tuesday evening between 5 and 8pm The food pavilion had so many good choices for kids and adults. The car show was so nice. Great cars and beautiful grounds to walk around. The candy store and fresh produce store had so much to offer . The kids loved the train ride and the petting zoo. This place is well worth going to. You won't be sorry . Come out and give it a try. The best of the best

My family and I had such an amazing time at Abbey Farms. They had a large selection of pumpkins for us to choose from, a fantastic retail store, and friendly staff. For the kids, they have a large selection of activities from a petting farm, zip line, slides, pedal cars, and more. We will be making this a yearly tradition!

love Abbey Farms! Admittedly I've only been here in the fall season, but I look forward to going every year. The grounds are great and there is so much to explore. Everyone who works here is super friendly and genuinely seem to enjoy their job - and most are volunteers!
