About Manuels Mexican Restaurant

Manuel’s Mexican Food restaurants were established in 1964 at 32nd Street and Indian School Road by Manuel and Alice Salazar. Our desire to serve the community with a friendly atmosphere and to serve our guests with the finest in Mexican food still holds true today as much as it did the first day we opened our doors. Manuel’s has received numerous awards for our quality food and we maintain that quality by preparing our food from scratch daily, just as we did in 1964.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT US

We LOVE this restaurant. Their food is consistently fantastic, but this time was extra special because Ruben was our server and he was amazing. We can't remember the last time we had a server that was so great! He and his helper/bus boy, Antonio, gave us just the right amount of attention, we never had to look around for him or wait for the check. They were both very professional and courteous. Definitely worthy of a solid 5 star review.

First visit and will definitely return. Taco salad was made with romaine lettuce (!) and the chicken chunks flaked easily. Delicious food, efficient and friendly service, clean and lively decor, pleasant music at just the right level for easy conversation.

Excellent food, great hot sauces and salsa, good chips, and they have a senior menu with reasonable portions for us old folks. Service was prompt, kind, and attentive without being pushy. They do not have a loyalty program, but we will be back.

I haven’t been to a Manuel’s in years, but I’m glad I tried it again. This restaurant is the real deal. The restaurant is clean and well kept. The menu is extensive. The prices are a little high, but if you go with the lunch menu, it’s actually a really good deal. The chicken chimichanga is excellent. I appreciate that there was no extra charge for guacamole. The chips and salsa are great. The taco salads are amazing. The service is fast, friendly, and attentive. Even the neighborhood is inviting. Definitely worth a try.
