Since 1940 the Wheaton Meat Company has been a family-owned business. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and offering the highest quality foods. ?Many weekdays, we cheerfully grind out fresh sausages to the dulcet tempo of the polka music that plays in the background. As where grocery stores will serve you prepackaged vein-steaks on a styrofoam tray wrapped up like a gas station sandwich, our steaks are beautifully marbled, cut to order, and wrapped in quality freezer-ready butcher paper that will keep the juices with the steaks and not trickling through your refrigerator. Our salmon and chicken are delivered fresh every single day and our deli counter has a chock-full assortment of top-end Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. We accept Money Mailer Coupons.

Not that WMCo needs another 5 star review...This place is my go-to for quality meat. I'm an avid griller and smoker, and their meat absolutely makes a difference. Love their pork shoulder and ribs, wouldn't smoke anything else. Their ultimate burger grind and steaks are superb. You can get prime-level marbled steaks here at choice-price. Their bacon is also awesome. I love the knife-sharpening service--results are decidedly superior to some other local options I've tried. And finally, these guys know their meat. I can always rely on them to point me in good directions when I'm looking to try something different--steak ends and fillet tails...who knew...? Yeah, there's a line on Saturdays. Yeah, it's 100% worth it.

I normally wouldnt take the time to post for a meat market but the selection here is consistently good with lots of choices. They also carry East Side Cafe Pizza which is an amazing frozen pizza. Thanks to my friemd Tina for turning me on to this place!
