i don't write reviews typically, i generally prefer to mooch off of the efforts of others on Yelp. but on rare occasions, i visit a place that i just have to give a thumbs up to, and this is one of them.
the service and friendliness of the staff and owner made this such a nice experience, but the food is what really put this place on the map for me. i have tried many an Indian restaurant in my travels around the globe, and it's hard to find a place in the US that captures that sense of authenticity - and balances it with modern tastes. but you'll find it here again and again with each new dish you try. while the prices are on the mid to high end of things, the quality matches and the little extras make it worth while.

DON'T SLEEP ON THIS PLACE!! We have walked by this restaurant a bunch of times, always mentioning we want to try it. Finally decided to go for dinner and it was SO delicious. Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Loved everything we ordered. Its also vegan friendly which was even better. Service was kind and attentive. The food came out very quick.
Next time you walk by, please pop in! You will NOT be disappointed!!
