For over 75 years Brown’s Chicken has tempted the taste buds of generations of Chicagoans. From humble beginnings in 1949 when John and Belva Brown opened their first location in a trailer at 80th and Harlem in Bridgeview, the company’s pursuit of chicken that truly tastes better continues in a new era. With over 21 stores in the Chicagoland market, Brown’s Chicken boasts a style of chicken all our own. The recipe cooked up by John and Belva uses buttermilk batter with cottonseed oil, delivering a delicious golden crunch on the outside with a moist and flavorful inside. We’ve added and subtracted many products over the years, but our chicken recipe remains the same and our customers wouldn’t have it any other way. Of course, we’d never mess with the mushrooms either. Our wildly popular catering operation is the area’s largest, serving businesses and home events alike. We come all the way from New Lenox to get our fix of BROWN'S CHICKEN and this place has not disappointed us yet. It is freshly made and so what if you have to wait a few minutes, I rather have fresh then chicken sitting under the heating lamps. But this is a family-owned business, and they are so nice there, and I was able to use multiple coupons too, so that saved us some money. Also, while we were waiting, we played the slots and WON some cash and that was a Bonus. We have a KFC just down the street from our home and I rather drive to the Homer Glen Brown's Chicken and have nice pieces of chicken then the KFC credit card sized chicken pieces. The LIVERS are awesome, that's for sure one of our favorites. The fritters are just delicious, they taste like a little dessert with powdered sugar. Also, my son loves the Chicken Tenders, they are nice and meaty. Our order has NEVER EVER been incorrect, it is nice to go to a restaurant and not worry about going thru the whole bag to make sure what you paid for is in the bag. I arrived 20m before closing and this wonderful human lady name Sue which I found out is the owner made my meal hot and fresh out the grease. My chicken wings were soooo delicious, this location is my forever favorite go to!

The ladies are amazing and so friendly when you order. Food is made fresh and is always delicious. I have a very picky family who are hard to please , when we ordered from Brown’s Chicken in Homer Glen they said it was the best chicken tenders they’d ever had. Corn Fritter and Mushrooms and Biscuits are delicious ??. I just have to Thank them for making my family so Happy. We will be ordering are next family get together. ????

There are no Brown's Chicken in Indiana so when I found myself in Homer Glen I saw there was a Brown's, so I got my Chicken Sandwich which is the best anywhere! The woman behind the counter was nice and quick with my order. The place was clean and the the food was delicious ??
